Admin: Score Breakdown

Access Level

Selector and Owner can view breakdown details.

Overview

Use Score Breakdown to see how one official's depth score was calculated.

This page helps you understand:

  • Current total score and tier
  • Rank position
  • Score split between calculated and subjective components
  • Per-factor contribution by section

How to Access

From the sidebar, expand Depth Charting, then click Score Breakdown.

You can also open this page from score buttons in Overview or Grade Chart.

Before You Start

  • If you open this page directly, search and select an official first.
  • If breakdown data does not exist yet, run recalculation for that grade.

Page Sections

Select Official

When no official is selected yet, the page shows Select Official.

  • Type at least 2 characters
  • Click an official name to open their breakdown

Official Header

The header shows:

  • Official name and profile image
  • Grade selector
  • Season selector
  • Subgroup label (if relevant)
  • Rank
  • Calculated date
  • Total score and tier badge

Score Split Bar

When subjective scores are present, the split bar shows:

  • Calculated portion
  • Subjective portion

Breakdown Cards

Factors are grouped into:

  • General
  • Diary
  • Assessments
  • Plans
  • Subjective (only if subjective metrics exist for that score)

Each factor row shows:

  • Factor name
  • Progress bar
  • Raw/max
  • Weight
  • Earned
  • Potential

Common Tasks

Find an Official and Open Breakdown

  1. Open Depth Charting > Score Breakdown.
  2. In Select Official, type at least 2 characters.
  3. Click the official.
  4. Result: The page opens that official's score breakdown.

View Another Grade or Season for the Same Official

  1. Use the Grade selector in the header.
  2. Use the Season selector in the header.
  3. Result: Breakdown refreshes for the selected scope.

Return to the Source Chart

  1. Click Grade Chart to return to that grade chart scope.
  2. Or click Overview to return to the overall ranking page.

Validation and Rules

  • Search requires at least 2 characters
  • Breakdown can only display where a score record exists for that official and scope
  • If breakdown factors are not yet generated, recalculation is required

Troubleshooting

No breakdown data yet

Symptoms
You see: "No breakdown data yet. Run a recalculation for this grade to generate per-factor scores."

How to Fix

  1. Open Grade Chart for the same grade and season.
  2. If you have Owner access, click Recalculate Grade.
  3. Return to Score Breakdown and refresh.

Common Causes

  • The grade has not been recalculated yet for that season

Official not found in selected scope

Symptoms
You see an error that no score record was found for the selected scope.

How to Fix

  1. Change Grade and/or Season in the header.
  2. Confirm the official is ranked in that scope.
  3. Try opening the official from Grade Chart instead.

Common Causes

  • Official has no depth score for the chosen grade or season
